Pay by the session
The DM buys sessions; players always play free. Campaigns, prep and everything between sessions cost nothing. A session is only used once it has been in use for 10 minutes after you first press Record, so a false start is free. (Short false starts on the same day add up.)
Sessions on Scryboard's AI
Everything included: transcription, live analysis, rules and combat help, and the recap afterwards. Up to 6 hours of recording per session.
Bring your own AI key
Half-price sessions for DMs who'd rather use their own AI account. The in-session AI runs on your Anthropic, OpenAI or OpenRouter account instead of Scryboard's, and you choose the models. Your AI provider bills you directly for that part, at their own prices. Up to 12 hours of recording per session. Use either kind of session whenever it suits you. Set up your key in Settings; it walks you through it.
- ✦Unlimited campaigns, up to 6 players each.
- ✦Every player gets one free session to run as a DM once they've joined a campaign and confirmed their email.
- ✦Pause recording any time; paused time doesn't count towards a session's recording limit. Recording pauses itself after 20 quiet minutes.
- ✦Anyone can publish apps to the Marketplace. Apps are priced separately by their developers.
Sessions never expire. All sales are final. If something went wrong with a session, contact us and we'll look at it. Buying sessions means you agree to the Terms of Service, including how sessions are charged and refunded. Receipts for your purchases are in Settings → Sessions.
